8th Grade Cemetery Clean-Up

It’s been tradition for the graduating 8th grade class to clean up the St. Francis Borgia Catholic Parish Cemetery. This year was no exception! As their last service project together, the 8th graders worked together to unearth buried monuments and dig small holes for the mounting of crosses on unknown burial sites.

Mr. Willbrandt, a former SFB School parent and parishioner, guiding them through the service project. This service project always brings historical perspective to the students’ minds and is a great way to tie in their service to the community and the parish.

Nice work 8th graders! The cemetery looks beautiful with your help.
