Today our students, faculty, staff — and many parents and parishioners — gathered at the South Church to celebrate Mass in honor of the feast day of our patron, Saint Francis Borgia. In his homily, Fr. Patrick shared the history of our church, and we also learned more about St. Francis Borgia himself. A few facts he reflected on: St. Francis Borgia was born in 1510 into a noble Spanish family. He served in the imperial court, held high offices, and married into Portuguese nobility — together he and his wife had eight children. After his wife died in 1546, he made the radical decision to renounce his titles and worldly life, join the Society of Jesus (Jesuits), and devote himself fully to prayer, teaching, and service. His feast day is celebrated on October 10th.
When students returned to campus, they enjoyed the fresh air as they prayed a living rosary together. What a special way to mark this feast and to unite our community in prayer and remembrance of our patron saint.
We’re kicking off our 2025 St. Francis Borgia Catholic School Fun Run! 🏃♂️💙 On Thursday, October 17th, all our students will be running and walking to support our amazing school community.
Funds raised will help support our operating budget, provide technology updates in our classrooms, and add resources for our teachers — all helping our students continue to thrive!

Our 4K students had the best day at Riveredge Nature Center on this gorgeous fall morning! 🍂✨ We’ve been learning all about our five senses in the classroom, and today we got to put them into action outdoors. From exploring the pond, forest, and meadow to discovering a few creepy crawlers 🐛, our little learners experienced the wonder of nature in so many ways. What an amazing day of learning and fun! 🌳🍁 ... See MoreSee Less
✨ This morning at Mass, our first grade students — with the special help of their 8th grade “angels” — shared a beautiful presentation reminding us that our guardian angel is always with us. 💛
Together as a school community, we prayed the Guardian Angel Prayer: Angel of God, my guardian dear, to whom God's love commits me here; ever this day be at my side, to light and guard, to rule and guide. Amen.
What a wonderful reminder of God’s constant love and protection! 🙏💫 ... See MoreSee Less
Last week our new Faith Families met for the first time this school year! Students in grades 5K–8 are placed into mixed-age groups that come together each month for faith-based activities. These gatherings give students the chance to build friendships across grade levels and strengthen our school community. This month, the groups kicked off with fun “get-to-know-you” activities, and our students loved connecting with new friends! ... See MoreSee Less
