Last week we were happy to welcome Mrs. Swietlik and Mrs. Haggerty back to St. Francis Borgia to share the exciting work of Friends of Lilies of Hope WI the new pregnancy resource center for Ozaukee County founded by members of our parish community.

They spoke with our students about their mission of supporting mothers, babies, and families in need and introduced our school’s Lenten service project that will help support this important ministry.

Each family received a baby bottle to take home and fill with spare change. Even the smallest donations can make a meaningful difference.

Once upon a time…with a twist…Our 3rd graders took the stage for their Fractured Fairy Tales performance, and we loved every minute of it! From classic characters with brand-new attitudes to familiar plots turned upside down, these creative storytellers had us laughing and cheering.

What happens when fairy tale characters rewrite their own endings? A whole lot of imagination, confidence, and fun! Bravo to our talented 3rd graders for twisting up the traditional tales and making them completely their own!

So much learning and joy happening at SFB!

Our Upper School students proudly participated in the Dominican Challenge at Dominican High School where Catholic grade schools were tasked with designing, building, and test-driving a car using the same materials. Students applied the engineering design process, gathered data, refined their builds, and showcased incredible creativity and teamwork in a tournament-style competition. We are so proud of the innovation and enthusiasm they brought to the challenge!

Meanwhile, our 5K students have been hard at work strengthening their writing skills — growing as confident young authors one sentence at a time.

Fr. Patrick also stopped by to visit our 3K students, bringing big smiles and joyful energy to their day.

🎨 Don’t forget — tonight is An Evening in the Arts.
Come admire our students’ amazing artwork, hear our talented student musicians, and celebrate the beauty of the arts together.
