SFB Donates Food for Red Ribbon Week

ST. FRANCIS BORGIA CATHOLIC SCHOOL COLLECTS FOOD FOR FAMILY SHARING FOOD PANTRY

St. Francis Borgia Catholic School celebrated Red Ribbon Week at the end of October and incorporated a food drive to support Family Sharing of Ozaukee County. Red Ribbon Week is the largest drug-abuse prevention campaign in the nation. Over the course of one week, the school celebrates Red Ribbon Week with different daily themes.

“We always teach our students that everyone in our community is a child of God. Donating our extra clothes, food, and toys can make a huge difference to those in need,” said Abby Riffel, Red Ribbon Week Coordinator at St. Francis Borgia.” Organizations like Family Sharing of Ozaukee County ensure that members of our community are provided with meals when they need it most and we wanted to support that as much as we could.”

St. Francis Borgia School Families overflowed two rolling carts for Family Sharing of Ozaukee County on Tuesday afternoon.
