Enter to learn. Go forth to serve Christ.

Our vision at St. Francis Borgia Catholic School is to provide educational opportunities in a religious environment that emphasizes the individual differences and learning styles of our students. Through incorporating the basic foundations of our Catholic faith and challenging academics, we empower our students for success in their future education and as Catholic citizens of our society and world.

Principal’s Welcome

With immense joy and gratitude, I extend a heartfelt welcome to the St. Francis Borgia Catholic School website. As the schoolā€™s principal, Iā€™m delighted youā€™ve found our vibrant and active Catholic school community. And as a parent of four children who attend our school, Iā€™m excited that youā€™re considering being a part of our warm and supportive community.

At St. Francis Borgia Catholic School, weā€™re more than just an educational institution; weā€™re a close-knit family committed to fostering academic excellence, spiritual growth and a sense of community. Our foundation is built on our mission statement: Enter to learn. Go forth to serve Christ. Also core to our values are the principles of love, respect and serviceā€”creating an environment where each individual is valued and supported on their unique journey. Our Catholic identity is at the heart of everything we do.

As you navigate our school’s homepage, I encourage you to explore the activities, programs and events that make our community unique. From our engaging academic curriculum to our extracurricular activities, thereā€™s something for every student to discover and embrace. We also hope alums and friends will stay connected with us through our regular updates, achievements and news.

I invite you to visit us to see the school in action. Schedule a tour, engage with our faculty, join our students and observe our classes on a visit day. Weā€™d be honored to welcome you to our campus so you can discover the St. Francis Borgia Catholic School difference.

Our students are diving into hands-on engineering as they construct and test balsam wood bridges! Through this project, they're learning essential skills like problem-solving, teamwork, and perseverance. Theyā€™re applying math and physics concepts, testing different designs, and experimenting with load-bearing structures. By testing each bridgeā€™s strength, they discover how small adjustments can make a huge difference. This experience empowers them with a sense of accomplishment and a deeper understanding of engineering principles in real-world applications. See MoreSee Less

Love this! I did this as a kid but it was an improv team competition. If someone at the school is interested in doing this let me know!

My mom used to do this with her classes when she taught at St. Joes! Such a fun thing to do!

Awesome love this!

šŸ‡ŗšŸ‡øšŸ‡ŗšŸ‡ø Happy Veteransā€™ Day!šŸ‡ŗšŸ‡øšŸ‡ŗšŸ‡ø Today, our 5th grade students had the privilege of hearing from Mr. Tom Kandizora, a proud Air Force veteran, who shared his experiences and lessons from his time in service. We are deeply grateful to Mr. Tom and all veterans for their dedication and sacrifices to protect our freedoms.

May we honor their courage and service today and always. We pray: Lord, we ask Your blessing upon all veterans, past and present. May they feel our gratitude, Your peace and the strength of our prayers. Amen.

Today, our 4th graders proudly replaced the wind-torn flag at the front of our school and learned the respectful way to fold the old oneā€”a beautiful lesson in patriotism and responsibility! šŸ‡ŗšŸ‡ø

Last week we welcomed a special guest principal for the day, thanks to an item auctioned off at our golf outing! She took her duties seriously, checking in on students and teachers, lending a hand in the office and calling cars at dismissal.

Last Friday our 8th graders honored All Saints' Day by teaching us about the saints in a way that inspired us all.

Great to see kids involved.

Our students are putting their STEM skills into action! Take a look at our 1st grade engineers working through the full design processā€”brainstorming, designing, planning, building and testing. Their goal was to create a product that can hold at least three apples, include handles and is easy to carry. Meanwhile, our 7th grade students are designing and building balsa wood bridges during their STEM elective. What fun it is to witness engineering principles being put to the test in our classrooms.
