Safe Environment Training Sessions – Upcoming July 31st Session at SFB North Church

Safeguarding all God’s Family

As part of the Archdiocese of Milwaukee’s program for creating a safe environment for all God’s family, all volunteers who have contact with children or youth must complete three mandatory Safe Environment Education requirements prior to their volunteering. These requirements include attending a 3-hour facilitated Safeguarding All of God’s Family Safe Environment Education Session, reading the Code of Ethics and Mandatory Reporting Responsibilities and authorizing a criminal background check every 5 years.

If you plan on helping at school in ANY capacity this year and have not already taken this class, you must attend a session. Go to the Archdiocese of Milwaukee’s Safe Environment page and click on download the instruction sheet. Follow these instructions to set up your account, read the required documents, authorize a Background Check, and register for a Safe Environment Session. If these dates do not work for you, you may choose another date when registering.

If you have any questions please contact Katie Stafford, SFB Safe Environment Coordinator, at 377-1070 or parish@sfbchurch.org.

Upcoming local Session: Tuesday, July 31 from 6-9 p.m. in the church hall at SFB North.
